The Du Boisson Dance Foundation is our charitable partner and is a registered charity (1088916) that was founded by our school director, Anna du Boisson. It is committed to supporting the most talented and passionate dancers and performers, irrespective of their ability to fund their training. It also supports work within the community in the field of dance, training, and the performing arts for adults and children alike.
DBDF supports both the London Vocational Ballet School (LVBS) and the part-time school, West London School of Dance (WLSD). LVBS students come from all over the country, with many starting their training at WLSD. All students at both schools have the opportunity to perform in annual shows in West End Theatres and many regularly perform as part of West End Musicals.

The full-time students at LVBS are given full vocational training and first-rate academic education with the school gaining critical acclaim and building up an alumni network across the industry.

Many of the full-time students subsequently fulfil their ambition to become professional classical dancers, going on to train with the world's top ballet schools such as The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School, Elmhurst, Elmhurst Ballet School, and the Central School of Ballet - all of whom recognise the exceptional quality of the training the students have received during their time at LVBS and WLSD.

Full or partial bursaries are available to help those with enthusiasm and potential for children from financially difficult backgrounds, on a means-tested basis. Among the 52 students at LVBS, 40% are on partial or full bursaries; that is a significant number of pupils from underprivileged backgrounds.
The Du Boisson Dance Foundation is also committed to its work within the community promoting dance and related performing arts.
